In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, developing data-driven insights, and creating advanced predictive models to drive business decisions. The ideal candidate has a strong background in data science, machine learning, and statistics, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for uncovering valuable insights from complex data.
Responsibilities:
Collect, clean, and preprocess large-scale data sets to prepare them for analysis.
Analyze data using statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization tools to uncover patterns, trends, and insights.
Develop, test, and validate predictive models to support decision-making and optimize business processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables.
Present data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders, effectively communicating complex findings in a clear and concise manner.
Continuously improve data science processes and methodologies, staying current with the latest trends and technologies in the field.
Identify opportunities for data acquisition and collaborate with data engineering teams to integrate new data sources into the analytics pipeline.
Mentor and guide junior data scientists, fostering a collaborative team environment and promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in data science, computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role, with a strong track record of data analysis and model development.
Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical techniques, and data visualization tools.
Experience with programming languages, such as Python or R, and data processing libraries, such as pandas, NumPy, or SciPy.
Proficient in using data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Nice to Have:
Experience with big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, or Hive.
Knowledge of deep learning frameworks, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
