The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance, be well-versed in various testing methodologies, and have experience in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and automated tests to ensure the quality of our software applications.
Responsibilities:
Create and execute test plans, test cases, and automated tests to ensure software quality.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
Identify, report, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
Analyze test results and provide recommendations for improvement.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, especially those related to software testing and quality assurance.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in software quality assurance or a related role.
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience with both manual and automated testing.
Familiarity with various testing types, such as functional, performance, usability, and security testing.
Experience with test automation tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Nice to Have:
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Knowledge of programming languages and scripting, such as Python, JavaScript, or Java.
Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
Good understanding of accessibility best practices.
